Patience...
I won't speak for everyone, but I know for a fact, I've struggled with patience. When I look back over my life, I realize my patience was thin when it came to my wants and plans for my life.
In this world, it's easy to feel like we have to have things right then and there. We have social media telling us how we should live. We have family rushing us to make something of our lives before it's "too late." We're rushed to marriage, have babies and "live the American Dream." We're told that if we don't hit a certain milestone before a certain age, then we have failed in life.
So rushing and thinking we have to keep up with what everyone else is doing is something that has been programmed into our minds. Many people don't stop to think about the fact that everyone has their own journey and path. Nobody's life is exactly like another person.
At one point in time, I was ignorant to all of this. However, when I gave my life to The Most High, Yahuah, I learned to lean on Him and not myself. I wanted HIS will to be done, not my own. When I learned that it's not about me, it's about Him, then I was able to see more clearly.
I was able to have peace and joy knowing that He will handle everything. And that my plans aren't always for the best. I realized that I know nothing. Our Heavenly Father is who knows all. So, it's best to wait on Him.
Praying and really talking to Yahuah about what I was feeling and going through is when the relationship came in. I let Him in. Expressing to Him how much I needed Him. And also how much I WANTED Him. Trusting in His perfect timing. He makes no mistakes. We, as human beings, on the other hand, do make mistakes.
I'm not saying it's easy. I still find myself struggling sometimes with patience. I have to constantly remind myself to trust in Him and lean not on my own understanding. I take life one day at a time, doing what I can to the best of my abilities. But ultimately, leaving it all in His hands. Having FAITH is the key!! Let me say that again for the people in the back: FAITH is the KEY!!
Here are some amazing scriptures (from The Scriptures Bibles "ISR 2009 edition") that speaks on waiting for Yahuah.
